Look Fabulous For Less !!!

About Rita Jae

I have always loved learning and developing my skills when it comes to hair and beauty, because I just love looking fly. I worked part-time in a hair salon as early as when I was 16years old and this experience really cemented my passion for all things hair.  Over the years I have taken a mountain of courses on hair and beauty to further improve my skills because I believe in always improving my craft. In an era where it feels like every website or social media outlet is trying to get us to buy some expensive hair or beauty product,  I feel its only right to share my tips and tricks on how to look fabulous on a budget with you all.

Why I came up with this blog

Growing up in a multicultural city like London, I noticed that there are all types of people that are unsure of how to best take care of their  hair or even the sort of products to use. Variety is the spice of life, however unfortunately products do not come in one size fits all format. Because of this the search for products and hair styles to compliment  our individual hair textures can be difficult. It may also simply be because we have been miseducated from childhood on how to handle certain hair textures. As much as I love wigs and hair bundles, I know that I need to take care of my crown. However at times I have been confused as to what is best to do, so I made it my mission to find out and document my findings. So my goal for this blog will be to share my journey with you all and share what I have learnt on the way.

My goal

I want to use this blog to help people with the following:

I will share the tips and tricks learnt along the way to take care of your natural hair. Whatever your ethnic background, the variety of topics explored should appeal to you.   I will also be sharing some self care tips that have worked for me and explain how to make them work for you.

I will be showing you how to maintain human and synthetic hair and products that work with your prized bundles and lace frontals. closures and full lace units.

As we all know, not all of us are in a position to spend our Elizabeths (cash money) on really expensive bundles of hair. No need spending your rent money on bundles and risking homelessness peeps, its definitely not cute! So I will be showcasing how to rock pocket friendly hair styles and how to style them to achieve the expensive look even with a lower budget. Literally living a champagne lifestyle with a lemonade budget and cash left over to handle your business just like a real boss!

Full product analysis and your best go to hair and beauty products for different hair textures will be shared. The post will explain how to use specific products and the best places to purchase them. From time to time, I will rate products and even do giveaways to showcase the best of the best. We are on the journey together, so join me and always comment so that I know what topics interest you so that I know what to discuss next.

If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.

Stay Fabulous x
